Voices of Youth and U-Report came together to create this #2022Wrapped
This year young people around the world raised their voices on the issues that matter to their generations, and not only that: they have taken action online, at demonstrations, and even at the United Nations.
Voices of Youth and U-Report have shone a spotlight on the opinions and views of young people from around the world through polls, blogs, illustrations, videos, and poems. Here are some of the most common issues young people have talked about in 2022.
Youth participation
6 out of 10 girls and young women say their government has never consulted them on policies related to the environment. Learn more.

Mental Health
8 out of 10 U-Reporters believe relationships are critical to feeling supported, cared for, and understood. Learn more.

Climate crisis
Globally, 2 in 5 young people said the impacts of climate change have made them reconsider their desire to start a family. Learn more.

Learning crisis
9 out of 10 U-Reporters believe that governments should provide more support, so all children learn basic reading and maths in primary school. Learn more.

Discrimination and inclusion
Almost half of U-Reporters feel discrimination has impacted their lives or that of someone they know. Learn more.

Gender equality
4 out of 10 adolescent girls and young women on the move reported that lack of career coaching and direction was a significant barrier. Learn more.

Wars and conflicts
7 out of 10 U-Reporters feel affected by current wars and conflicts. Learn more.

COVID-19 and Vaccines
Half of U-Reporters would trust information and news about COVID-19 vaccines if it came from scientists, doctors, and health experts. Learn more.
